Nathaniel King is poet from Cornwall, UK. His debut of poetic lyric essays, Ghost Clinic, was published with Broken Sleep Books in 2023 and received the 2024 Eric Gregory Award. He has experience teaching and facilitating creative writing workshops for adults and young people in UK schools and recently joined the First Story pool of writers, as a writer-in-residence for schools in London. He is a deputy editor for Anthropocene and has contributed papers at academic conferences. His creative practice includes writing, photography, videography, lino and woodblock-printing. He lives and teaches in London. He is currently completing a PhD at Royal Holloway, researching folklore and hauntological poetics, where he also teaches as a visiting tutor.
