SoA Awards Celebration - Virtual

As part of the SoA Awards Celebration we will be running our annual online celebration event on Wednesday 3rd July at 6:30 – 7:45pm. Reading extracts from Eric-Gregory winning pamphlet, Ghost Clinic. This will be an opportunity for the winners and judges to get together and hear each other’s work, while providing an inspiring night of live poetry for members."

Royal Society of Arts

Poetry London Summer Launch - Reading at the launch along with fellow magazine contributors and Eric-Gregory Winners. This event will take place in the historic Great Room and will feature readings from Isobel Dixon, Annemarie Ni Churreanin and Romalyn Ante. There will also be an opportunity to purchase the summer edition of the magazine and networking. Come together for an exciting evening of poetry.

Hosting and reading from Ghost Clinic and new work. Join us for an evening of readings from exceptional poets connected to Broken Sleep Books in the historic Founder's Building. The event will also raise funds to support the imprint with a wide selection of collections and pamphlets available to purchase. Afterwards, we invite everyone to mingle and continue the conversation over drinks at the Crosslands Bar. This event is free and open to all—join us for a night of inspiring poetry and great company.

Reading extracts from a new work titled ‘Blueprints for Nectar’ from a forthcoming Osmosis Press book. Join us for this exciting showcase of multidisciplinary work from academics and students at Royal Holloway Poetics Research Centre in collaboration with Surrey Hills Arts. You will experience site-specific art writing at the stunning hillside location at Denbies vineyard alongside the ‘Radius’ artwork.

We will be joined by Rosie May Jones, Artist in Residence at Leith Hill Place to perform a culmination of her residency. Her place-responsive performance is an outcome into her inquiry: ‘How do we shape our identities through our relationship to the land?’ 

Early booking is recommended for this event as space is limited.

Royal Holloway Small Publishers Fair Reading

St John’s Church in Notting Hill, London, will be hosting the inaugural edition of Verse & Sip, a live poetry reading event.

This event will feature readings from Kofi Achina, Maria-Alexandra Baciu, Tim Kiely, Nathaniel King, Christy Ku, Benjamin J. Larner, Jade de Robles Rossdale, Emily Taylor, and Jemma Walsh. There will be wine, beer, and light refreshments available for purchase on the night.
