Writing From The Radius - Surrey Hill Arts Project

Creative-critical writing project placement in response to the landscape of the Surrey Hills and the location of the Radius art work at Dorking in Surrey https://www.surreyhillsarts.org/permanent-works/radius/ to take place over the Summer 2024. 

It will be a site-specific approach to art-writing / landscape that will reimagine the Surrey landscape through time: past and future.  This is a collaboration with the Living Sustainably Catalyst, Poetics Research Centre, Surrey Hills Arts and academics and practitioners from Royal Holloway, University of London from a range of disciplines, that include: geography, history, literature and creative writing. 

This project that will result in a publication (Osmosis Press) to be shown at the Small Publishers Fair Friday 25th and 26th of October and at other relevant venues tbc. There will also be the opportunity to devise and run a workshop for a local community group on writing in response to the landscape.
